Al3Ti Alloy: Long-Period States and Electronic Structure

Abstract

Proceeding from ab initio calculations of the electronic structure and the generalized electronic susceptibility, the relationship between the Fermi surface nesting properties and the character of long-period structures in an Al3Ti alloy is studied. The observed dependence of the long period M on temperature is analyzed.
