Waves in the Faraday Chiral Media. I. Bulk Waves

Abstract

The propagation of bulk plane waves in the Faraday chiral media (chiroplasma and chiroferrite) at an arbitrary angle to the direction of a constant magnetic field is examined. The frequency dependences of the wave parameters are studied. The conditions of critical propagation regimes are established.
