Abstract
The osmotic coefficients of aqueous mixtures of lithium sulfate and sodium sulfate at 40°C, determined by the isopiestic method, are reported. The molality range covered in this study corresponds to about 0.1−3.4 (mol-kg−1) over the whole range of ionic fraction. The equations and parameters for the activity coefficient calculation for both salts in the mixed solutions, according to the Pitzer's formulation, are also given.
