Abstract
We report our results on the development of 1:1 in molar Ag/Co composite oxide prepared by co-precipitation, and the effect of different rates of precipitation and heat treatment on the surface area, pore size and also catalytic activity for CO oxidation. It was observed that slow precipitation of the catalysts gave small pore sizes, high surface area and high activity for CO oxidation at low calcination temperatures.
