Studies of Bose-Einstein Condensates

Abstract

We review the recent achievements in observing Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) in dilute atomic gases, and summarize our own studies of BEC in sodium. These include studies of static and dynamic behavior of the condensate and of its coherence properties.
