A Spectral Tomographic Method for Determining the Elemental Composition of Scattering Media

  • Published:
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy Aims and scope

Abstract

A metrologically reliable spectral-tomographic method of continuous control of the composition of scattering media (atmosphere, water medium, solutions, and other media) has been developed. It is shown that the accuracy of measurement of the elemental composition is virtually determined by the accuracy of the signals recorded (by excluding methodical errors caused by the instability of the optoelectronic tract and contamination of optical elements).
