The Medium-Cement Refractory Castable — a Promising Material for Thermal Power Units

  • Published:
Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Aims and scope

Abstract

The effect of adding microsilica (0 – 10%) on the physicomechanical properties of refractory medium-cement castables with grog-based fillers is studied. The optimum concentration of microsilica in the castable for practical applications is specified.
