Abstract
To improve separation of tantalum(V) from niobium(V) in their extraction from fluoride solutions, different ways for decreasing the fluoride ion concentration in the aqueous phase were tested. The efficiency of decomposition of rare-metal concentrate in continuous countercurrent process with several equilibrium decomposition stages was studied.
