Abstract
A method of measuring the absorptive power of carbon fabric that allows quantitatively assessing the quality of its electrochemical treatment is described. Statistical processing of the experimental data from studying the quality of ECT of T-22R carbon fabric showed the dependence of the absorptive power of the fabric on the current strength, pull-through rate, initial absorptive power, and surface density of the fabric. It is shown that electrochemical treatment increases the absorptive power and evens out the degree of hydrophlicity of the fabric in rolls.
