Abstract

A computation technique for gain, efficiency and output power in broadband millimeter wave helix TWTs from their dimensions is described. The computed results by modeling are good agreement with experimental measurements. It is shown that the method is fast and useful accuracy. It can be used as engineering design for MMW TWTs.
