The Intersection Form of a Closed Manifold Glued from Several Compact manifolds

Abstract

The intersection form in the middle homology of a closed oriented 4k-manifold glued from several compact oriented manifolds with boundary is described under the assumption that the intersection forms of all “parts” are nondegenerate and the boundaries are glued together along open-closed parts.
