  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

In this paper we report on the growth, luminescence and scintillation parameters of lead tungstate (PbWO4) single crystals and typical requirements on them, important for their application as scintillating medium for the electromagnetic calorimeter detector in a future generation of energy physics accelerators.
