Abstract
The thermodynamic method of analysis is considered as applied to the estimation of the possibility for forming the particle-bubble flotation complex. It is shown that the disturbance of internal equilibrium of the bubble-particle-fluid system is associated with the change in the value of contact angle and displacement of the contact perimeter of three aggregate states along the surface. The necessity is established for creating a kinetic model of elementary flotation act as the basis for construction of general theory.
