Method of Constructing a Two-Dimensional Image of an Air Target with an Arbitrary Unstable Flight Trajectory

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

The principle is described of forming a two-dimensional radar image of an air target when using multifrequency narrow band pulsed probing. The ways of converting signals reflected from a target executing an unstable flight in a turbulent atmosphere are indicated using an analytical method. New algorithms are proposed for adapting the method to the conditions of the trajectory instabilities. A mathematical modeling is performed confirming the efficiency of a new method for constructing a two-dimensional image of an air target.
