Production of Hot-Worked Bars and Tubes of Nodular Cast Iron

Abstract

Results are presented from the experimental production of nodular cast iron by the hot extrusion of bars and tubes with the largest possible elongation. It is established that semifinished products made of nodular cast iron can be subjected to piercing and helical rolling.
