Heat and Mass Transfer in a Fixed Annular Granular Bed

Abstract

The problem of heat (mass) transfer is solved analytically for a dense annular granular bed in which gas or liquid moves radially. Correctness of the solution is proved experimentally. Recommendations as to heat and mass transfer calculations are given.
