Alkaloids of Arundo donax. XI. NMR Spectroscopic Study of the Structure of the Dimeric Alkaloid Arundamine

  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

The dimeric indole alkaloid arundamine is isolated from the total bases of Arundo donax L. (Poaceae) roots. The structure of arundamine is investigated using ordinary one-dimensional 1H and 13C NMR, J-modulated 13C NMR, and various types of two-dimensional spectra, COSY, NOESY, HSQC, and HMBC.
