Oxidation, Hydrolysis, and Colloid Formation in Storage of SnCl2 Aqueous Solutions

Abstract

Oxidation of Sn(II), hydrolysis, and colloid formation in storage of acidic and alkaline SnCl2 solutions were studied as influenced by various ligands. The correlation between these processes was analyzed, and the composition of the colloids and precipitates was determined.
