Abstract

Electrochemical behavior of nickel sulfide (NiS) in 0.5 M solutions of Na2SO4, CuSO4at pH 2.0-2.2 and T = 90°C was studied. A possibility was shown for depassivation and efficient dissolution of nickel sulfides upon addition of KBr to the electrolyte.
