Characteristics of Hydrotreating a Broad Gas Condensate Cut in Different Regimes

Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

Abstract

TThe effect of the process parameters on the degree of desulfurization of a broad EP–350°C gas condensate cut in the reactor of an industrial hydrotreating plant at Astrakhan' Refinery was investigated. The analytical dependence of the degree of desulfurization on the temperature and feedstock space velocity into the reactor is obtained. It is shown that increasing the temperature affects the degree of desulfurization more than decreasing the feedstock space velocity. Using the equation obtained, it is possible to effectively predict the degree of desulfurization of gas condensate feedstock as a function of the indicated parameters.
