Voltammetry of Some Cobalt-Containing Octasubstituted Phthalocyanines

Abstract

The electrochemical and electrocatalytic properties of some octasubstituted phthalocyanines are studied by cyclic voltammetry. The main regularities of a changing electroreduction capability of the ligand in the phthalocyanines are investigated as a function of the nature of functional substituents. The electrocatalytic activity of the phthalocyanines in the molecular oxygen reduction in alkaline solutions is estimated.
