Methods of Eliminating Discrepancies in Cost Estimates for Energy Media Due to Errors of Measurement by Supplier and Customer

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

Discrepancies in cost estimates for batches of energy media arise because the commercial parameters of each batch are measured by the supplier and customer. A method of distributing this discrepancy between the parties is described for parameters that influence the batch evaluation, which incorporates the error characteristics of their metering equipments. For parameters that influence the quality evaluation, there is a discussion of the estimation of statistical errors in the measurements when they are duplicated.
