Atomic Energy Aims and scope

Abstract

The dynamics of radioactive contamination of air, soil, and water, caused by atmospheric nuclear weapons tests and the Chernobyl accident, over the entire time of regular observations of the radioactive contamination of the environment on the territory of the USSR and, after 1991, in Russia is examined. The reasons for the change in the radioactive contamination of these objects in nature are analyzed.
