Calibration of Measuring Instruments Using Standards of Lower Accuracy

Abstract

It is shown that a generalized least-squares method in which the errors of the abscissa and ordinate are comparable can be used to calibrate measuring instruments using standards (standard specimens) having an accuracy class lower than normal.
