Anodic Dissolution of Molybdenum and Tungsten in a Solution of Sodium Sulfate

Abstract

The electrochemical dissolution of molybdenum and tungsten in a 0.5 M solution of sodium sulfate at various temperatures was studied. The conditions of the efficient recovery of molybdenum from the binary metal system Mo-W were determined.
