Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

The changes in the properties of fibres of the Armos type after exposure to water were examined. The interesting finding of a significant decrease in the modulus of elasticity of these fibres is explained by the model of their structure in the form of a network consisting of crystallite units and interstices with orientational order.
