Determination of the Functional Parameters of Fibre Tension, Accumulation, and Transport Mechanisms

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

The effect of the mechanical actions of the devices that hold fibres in restricted spatial areas for a long time, for example, washing or dyeing chambers and drawing or cooling zones, was investigated. Correlations were found between the fundamental parameters of the operating processes of the mechanisms, i.e., between the number of loops occupying the cylinders, torques applied to the cylinders, fibre speed and tension at its entry point on the mechanism and at the point of departure from the mechanism, were established.
