  • Published:
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy Aims and scope

Abstract

The longwave part of the absorption spectra of saturated pyrene solutions in a number of organic solvents is measured. The interpretation of the longwave “trail” in these spectra as a band of aggregative nature with a complex mechanism of its formation is proposed.
