Abstract
The local instability of plates with annular inclusions is studied within the framework of exact three–dimensional equations. A numerical experiment is performed for the case where two rings are pressed in a plate made of the same material as the rings. The effect of the physicomechanical parameters of a medium on the critical contact pressures is studied.
