Abstract
The problem of propagation of a TM0 mode in a dielectric slab of three layers of anisotropic Kerr-type materials is investigated. By using the property of Ex2≫Ez2 of the TM0 mode, the approximate analytical solutions of the zeroth-order and first-order are presented and compared with the numerical results.
