Intermode Interaction in a Semisymmetric Open Resonator

Abstract

We consider the mode interaction in a semisymmetric open resonator in the vicinity of the Morse critical point and the degeneration point. The behavior of the resonant transmission coefficients, the loaded Q-factors, and the dispersion characteristics of the studied modes in the vicinity of the above points is analyzed.
