On Vortices Induced in Superfluid Films by Crossed Electric and Magnetic Fields

Abstract

The behaviour of a superfluid Bose-gas in crossed electric E and magnetic H fields is studied. It is shown that in the case when the two-dimensional divergence div 2[E×H] differs from zero, the crossed fields induce the appearance of quantized vortex threads in the electroneutral superfluid system.
