Abstract
Powders consisting of flakelike particles and exhibiting iridescence were prepared by adjusting conditions of mica pretreatment. The optimized procedure includes electrochemical cleaving, grinding, and coating the fine fraction of the mica powder with hydrous titanium oxide in an electrodialytic cell.
