Abstract
Specific features and principles of the use of nondestructive testing techniques in searching for flaws like discontinuities in materials and performing other operations in investigations of failures and accidents involving highly sensitive complex technical facilities are discussed. Applications of the methods of nondestructive testing to most of such investigations are unique in each situation.
