Abstract
The influence of the temperature on the signal‐to‐noise ratio ξ in the optoelectronic recirculation circuit of an informationξmeasuring system with an avalanche photodetector has been analyzed. It has been established that the temperature dependence of the pulse power of an injection laser has an influence on the width and position of the maximum in the temperature dependence of ξ at the output of the photodetector in a recirculation‐type system. The methods of maintenance of the avalanche multiplication factor of a photodetector at a given level have been proposed and their efficiency has been estimated.
