Regime of Internal Dump Formation in Mining Sloping Deposits

  • Published:
Journal of Mining Science Aims and scope

Abstract

Mathematical models of the dynamics of working- and dump-zone development in an open pit are considered. The dependence of the volume of overburden that may be sent to the internal dump on the parameters of the open pit and its first block is established. The influence of the dump-filling regime on the transport costs in overburden storage is investigated.
