Abstract
A comparative analysis of the time of ballistic existence for different elliptic orbits evolving under the influence of gravitational perturbations of external bodies is performed. For this purpose, the solution of a satellite variant of the restricted circular double-averaged three-body problem obtained by M.L. Lidov [1] is used. The use of a geometrical interpretation of Lidov's solutions has allowed us to create a visualized tool for a choice of evolving satellite orbits with a long time of ballistic existence.
