Gravitational Field of a Global Monopole in Lyra Geometry

Abstract

We present an approximate solution of global monopole based on Lyra geometry retaining terms of the order 1/3 2 in the energy momentum tensor for a triplet scalar field. Also the gravitational field of the monopole solution has been considered.
