Acousto-Optoelectronic Processors for Communication and Information Processing Systems

  • Published:
Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

The problems of using functional electronics in radio communication and radio-signal processing systems are considered. Different methods of radio access are compared from the viewpoint of throughput and efficiency of frequency resource usage. The prospects for applying systems with code division of channels using matched filters on surface acoustic waves are shown. The results of research and development of various acousto-optical devices, including radio-signal spectrum analyzers, direction finders – frequency meters, and demodulators of phase-shift keyed signals are presented.
