Abstract

The Gibbs energies of hydration of monoatomic single-charged ions (298.15 K) were calculated based on the previously developed concept about the real thermodynamic properties of single ions. The structural terms of the thermodynamic functions of ion solvation in water and methanol, defining structural changes in the solvent in the near solvation region, were evaluated.
