Abstract
Sakurai's Object, while now very faint visually, remains a bright(K = +7) infrared object, easily observable in the 1–5 μm region even athigh spectral resolution. We report on infrared monitoring ofSakurai's Object carried out from 1997 through 2000. The observingprogram included infrared photometry, medium resolution infraredspectroscopy, and high resolution infrared spectroscopy. Observationshave also been made of related final flash objects and similarities between one of these objects, V605 Aql, and Sakurai's Object are noted.
