Extraction–Photometric Determination of Nitrophenols in Biological Fluids

Abstract

The reaction between nitrophenols of different structures and 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TPTC) was studied. The optimal conditions for the formation and extraction of reaction products were found. It was shown that 2,3,5-TPTC can be used as a universal reagent for the extraction–photometric determination of mono- and polynitrophenols in biological fluids.
