Oxygen Exchange in YBa2Cu3O7 – δ

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials Aims and scope

Abstract

The oxygen exchange in YBa2Cu3O7 – δ materials of different densities was studied by thermogravimetry over wide ranges of temperatures and oxygen pressures. The results were correlated with x-ray diffraction (ba), T c (inductance method), and ΔT c data. According to polarized-light microscopy and coulometric titration results, the annealing conditions have a strong effect on the uniformity of oxygen distribution in the basal plane.
