Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

The effect of the inelastic properties of polymer structural materials (stress relaxation and fluidity) on the instability of a foil resistor is analyzed. A prediction of the long-term change in the resistance of the resistor is made from the results of short-term tests for a batch of foil thermal resistors.
