Abstract
InSb–ZnSe, InSb–CdSe, and InSb–ZnTe substitutional solid solutions were synthesized. Optical measurements were carried out on films deposited by thermal evaporation in vacuum. The formation of substitutional solid solutions was inferred from the composition dependences of the band gap (estimated from the absorption edge) and x-ray diffraction data.
