Abstract
An attempt is made to develop general theoretical grounds for moisture penetrability as an outgrowth of the familiar theory of moisture transfer. The nonlinear differential equation of moisture permeability is solved with consideration of the structural varieties of moisture. The advantage of the theoretical grounds developed is demonstrated on the basis of solution of a sample problem.
