Propagation of entangled pulses: correlation measures

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

The basic relations for describing the propagation of two light pulses through dispersing and absorbing channels and the associated quantum-state transformation are given for the case when the pulses are initially prepared in a two-mode squeezed vacuum state. The entropic characteristic measures of correlations of the pulses are calculated depending on the strength of entanglement, the pulse shape and frequency response of the channels.
