Flocculating Efficiency of Polyelectrolytes Prepared from Wastes of Nitron Fiber Production

Abstract

Water-soluble cationic, amphoteric, and anionic polyelectrolytes were prepared from wastes of the Nitron fiber production. The extent to which the polyelectrolytes reduce the turbidity, content of petroleum products, and chemical oxygen demand was studied as a function of polyelectrolyte type and its concentration.
