Russian Journal of Applied Chemistry Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Two procedures for hydrothermal synthesis of chromium dioxide are compared: from chromi- um(VI) oxide and from chromium(VI) and chromium(III) oxides. The reaction products obtained in the presence of modifying agents such as antimony, iron, tellurium, and tin compounds are described in relation to the synthesis temperature.
