Abstract
We have shown that 2-aminobenzothiazoles when reacted with epichlorohydrin form 3-hydroxytetrahydropyrimido[2,1-b]benzothiazolium chlorides, while 2-iminobenzothiazolines form 2-(γ-chloro-β-hydroxypropyl)iminobenzothiazolines.
